Optimizing Market Regulation and its Enforcement

Optimizing Market Regulation and its Enforcement

The purpose of this project is to analyze the appropriateness of regulation and/or its enforcement focusing on three specific industries which are central to society: banking, pharmaceuticals and electricity. Our analysis draws on policy recommendations for improving the rules and their enforcement, so as to prevent wrongdoing and improve market efficiency in these extremely important sectors.

The project is financed by the Wallenberg Foundation.
