SITE will host a research seminar “Democratization and the Conditional Dynamics of Income Distribution” with Paul Maarek, Cergy-Pontoise University, Paris.
Paul Maarek is an Assistant Professor at the University of Cergy-Pontoise. He earned his PhD at the Aix-Marseille School of Economics and completed a post-doctorate fellowship at the Central Bank of France. During his PhD and post-doctorate, his primary research interest was the sharing of value added in economics from both a theoretical and an empirical perspective.
His research interests cover political economy, development economics, and labor economics. He has published his scientific articles in Scandinavian Journal of Economics, European Journal of Political Economy, Annals of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Comparative Economics and other journals.
